At Know The Truth, we are fully devoted to teaching God’s Word with boldness, clarity and conviction using every technological means available, and your generous gift will support our mission. Various ways to leave a legacy gift include the giving options below.

Wills/Trusts

The following information will help you designate Know The Truth in your will or trust:

Know The Truth is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization operating as a California nonprofit corporation.

Sample bequest language:
I bequeath the sum of $_________ or _________% of my estate* to Know The Truth, P.O. Box 30250, Anaheim CA, 92809-0208, to be used to teach God’s Word with boldness, clarity and conviction using every technological means available.

Life Insurance

A gift of your life insurance policy provides a unique opportunity to support the ongoing ministry of Know The Truth. Such a legacy gift is simple to arrange and does not require the services of an attorney or related legal costs. By designating Know The Truth as the primary or contingent beneficiary of a life insurance policy, the size of the gift is assured in advance—it will not depend on the fluctuations of the market or other economic factors. Since the donation is made outside of your will or trust, it guarantees that your wishes will be carried out immediately and as intended. The policy will be included in your taxable estate when you pass away, but your estate will benefit from an estate-tax charitable deduction for the value of the gift to Know The Truth.

Retirement

Perhaps the simplest way to include Know The Truth in your estate plan is by naming Know The Truth as a direct or contingent beneficiary of your retirement account. Retirement accounts are typically assets many people leave to charity as they many times are the most heavily taxed assets in an estate. If you were to name Know The Truth as a beneficiary of your retirement account, you would avoid all tax on any distribution from that portion of the account, while providing a lasting legacy to the ministry.

Changing your beneficiary designation requires minimal paperwork and can even be accomplished online if your account offers that service. You also enjoy the flexibility of easily making future adjustments without the need of legal assistance should you desire to make any changes.
